You know how folks sort of look at you “funny” when you tell ‘em about a recent experience of yours, and how much you enjoyed it, and how much you think they’d enjoy it...and all the while they are quietly saying “uh huh”.  That’s how it was with me, when folks mentioned the EAA’s yearly “Airventure” at Oshkosh, Wisconsin.  It’s just one of those events that has to be experienced, at least once in a lifetime, and preferably more often.  It was very impressive, and everything my friends had told me about and more.  While I shot over 1100 photos, I really didn’t work too hard, photographically speaking, as it was my first visit, and I wanted to enjoy the show for what it is.  Next year I’ll have a much more definite visual idea in mind.  Enjoy my selects, and look for my blog entry on the show in the near future.

Oshkosh...It’s all that and more...
